ANY LAND USE CHANGES THAT REQUIRE A BUILDING PERMIT (i.e.)
New home construction, home renovations, pole barns, and any storage sheds etc., must be approved by the Horseshoe Beach Land Development Administrator. The Building Department will require a Horseshoe Beach LDR Certification Letter & Horseshoe Beach Zoning Compliance letter in order to approve Building Permit. Please contact Talmadge Bennett, LDR Administrator at 904-718-7822 to set up an appointment. He will do first inspection before project begins, generate a LDR Cert. Letter $50 and a Horseshoe Beach Zoning Compliance letter will have to be obtained at Town Hall in Horseshoe Beach cost is $25.00 and documents are good for up to 180 days . Set back Requirements for properties in Horseshoe Beach in LDR referencing RMO (Residential Marine Oriented) and CG ( Commercial General) have been amended to be the same. 10 feet from any street, 10 feet from any adjacent property owner and 12 feet from any canal or waterway.
