Horseshoe Beach hosts two city parks and a county park, with two boat ramps, a baseball field, beach volleyball court, basketball court, picnic pavilions, and multiple family-friendly playgrounds.
Horseshoe Beach Ball Park Our Ball Park is our most expansive recreation facility, with two adjacent picnic pavilions, a walking trail around the park, swing-set, beach volleyball court, basketball court, and, of course, a full-size baseball field. The Ball Park is equipped with lights for after-dark events, simply contact Town Hall for information about how your group can make use of the facility. Butler-Douglas Memorial Park Butler-Douglas Park is Dixie County's waterfront boat ramp and camping location located within Horseshoe Beach. With a sweeping vista facing West, the park is incredibly popular for visitors and residents alike to enjoy a meal, fish in the scallop shallows, watch the sunset, and spend the night camping under the stars. Main St. Boat Ramp For those that simply wish to move their boat from land to sea, the Main St. Boat Ramp is here to serve. Located at 563 Main St Horseshoe Beach, FL 32648, the Main St. Boat Ramp allows access to the Gulf at high and low tide for no fee. Please note: public parking is not available at the Main St. Boat Ramp. all properties nearby are privately owned and discourage parking unless otherwise posted. Please help keep our community safe and do not park on the asphalt on Main St. |
