Horseshoe Beach's own Friends in the Shoe Event Committee sponsors and runs events in Horseshoe Beach year-round. From holiday celebrations to fishing tournaments and fireworks, few months in Horseshoe go by without an event. Check back here often for new upcoming events!

Hooked on Fishing Tournament​

Saturday March 25 - Sunrise-3:30 PM

Horseshoe Beach's 2nd Annual "Hooked on Fishing" tournament will be held March 25, 2023, with Captain's Meeting and Calcutta ($15/plate) at 6:30 PM Friday, March 24 "under the tent" at 163 Main St. Prizes for Red, Trout, mixed bag, and a surprise fish TBA at the Captain's Meeting.
Registration is $125/boat (includes Captain and 1st Mate registration), $65 for each additional angler.

Spring Festival

Horseshoe Beach's annual Spring Festival celebrates its 13th year, a free admission, free parking event with something for everyone. A variety of vendors showcasing crafts, food, jewelry, sculptures, and more! There's also live Olde Tyme country music, face painters, a huge raffle, and a parade down Main St. All proceeds benefit the Horseshoe Beach Library Corporation, Horseshoe Beach's own independently run library. Come on down and join the fun - no fooling!

Independence Day Fireworks​

Saturday, July 1 - Dusk

Horseshoe Beach's annual Independence Day Fireworks is a free summer staple, with professional pyrotechnicians lighting up the sky in a dazzling display deigned to delight. Bring the family down and celebrate our country's independence with an Independence Day tradition.
